His height is 1.75 m./17.1 hh and has wonderful movement and temperament. Decreto is included in the CATALOGUE OF RECOMMENDED YOUNG REPRODUCERS (JRR), published by the Ministry .
He started to compete in dressage at 4 years' old, in 2005, and was qualified EXCELLENT at the M.A.P.A. competitions which are organized by the ministry. (from 65 horses only 12 had this qualification) At 5 years' old, in 2006, he competed in the M.A.P.A. competitions and again achieved an EXCELLENT qualification (only 5 horses out of 74 achieved this result).
At present we have started to compete him at Prix Saint George level.

Gavilan is an outstanding stallion for his excellent movement which he transmits to his progeny.
He is 75% Marín García bloodline. He is ridden and driven. Gavilan is a stallion that has great personality, is very clever and has a very big heart. He is always willing to give much more than what he is asked for.

His dam Macanúa was mare championship at Sicab in 1986 and his sire was the very well known Vinatero III of the Miura Stud.
He is inscribed at the "Who's who of the Andalusian horse"(LIMPRE), as well as both his sire and dam.
Macanúo was dressage championship at the Copa Ancce in 1999 and during the year of 2000 he competed at Grand Prix level, obtaining superb results, with scores around 70% and he remained first or second throughout all the competitions.
At 18 years old and in top form he remained active competing in Young Riders tests and being a great teacher for the rider who presented him, Guillermo Garcia.
His genetics prove to be very strong and at present, at the grand old age of 21 years’ old he is still in great shape and keeping all his strength and agility.
